Frequently asked questions

Transfers from a business account to a recipient in another country — for example paying suppliers, contractors, partners or service providers, or covering overseas operational expenses. Typically sent via SEPA (EUR in Europe), SWIFT or local rails (non-European), with the route depending on the recipient's country and currency.
Yes. Amaiz is an FCA-regulated e-money institution built for sending business payments abroad, from any of your Amaiz currency accounts (GBP, EUR, USD, AED, CHF, HKD).
There's no single best method — it depends on your recipient's currency, their country, the amount, and how quickly you need funds to arrive. SEPA or SEPA Instant is the better fit for EUR payments within the SEPA zone; SWIFT and Local payment methods cover other currencies and destinations outside it. Local payment methods are often faster and cheaper than SWIFT for lower-value transfers, while SWIFT is generally used for larger transactions. Card payouts are used when the recipient can't share full bank details, or if it's their preferred method.
There's no fixed fee — cost depends on the payment route, the currency, and the amount you're sending. Local payment methods are often cheaper than SWIFT for lower-value transfers, while SWIFT can carry additional intermediary bank charges and is more suitable for larger transfers. Amaiz shows you the exact fee and final amount before you confirm, so you always know the cost upfront.
